TTB shafts

Since I go through shafts like food I am always looking for replacements. So far everything has worked. But I remember a site I found a year or two ago that had the specs of the TTB shafts. And I remember the dimensions changing slightly over the years. Like the late 80's shafts being 1/2" shorter than others. Some stub shafts being slightly longer than others, etc. Was I dreaming or is this the case? If it is the case will they still work for me because I don't think they will? Thanks. Posting this on FSB also.

Re: TTB shafts

So you want to know the differences in shaft lengths between the TTB and a solid D44 right? Sounds good. Me too! Anybody?

Re: TTB shafts

Yeah, I too remember this site... it had a big table of years and shaft sizes... some were like 1.28" thick while others were 1.34" or something like that... i'm prodding my brain hard but I can't quite remember who's site that is. as i recall, the later trucks usually had the larger shafts, but of course it's FORD so not all of them did

WHOAH, I was about to hit submit but kicked over to altavista real quick to see what I could find... guess what!
