dana 44 and a Ford 9\'

ok guys I've decided I want a straight front axle when I lift the truck and Ive found a guy seelin a Dana 44/ Ford 9' Combo for 1500. is that a good price? And i was gunna run 33's so I was thinkin about 4.11's. Tell me what yall think.

Kinda$$$$$--What rig would you be putting the combo in?? The transmission could be an issue.

I agree with Brian, a bit pricey. Both those axles are pretty common and easy to find. Especially the 44. I think if you look hard enough you could get both for around $500.

It's a good combo. But like they said a bit heavy on the $$ side of things. Those gears and tires will work but I'd go with 4.56's and 35's any bigger and your risking the axles. Not that I'm going to let that stop me personally. [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

i am going to agree with both because while here at texas tech in lubbock i have found numerous 44s and 9" for at most 400 each.

same here alittle high for around 1200 you could get rockwells as for the tire size dont know the toyota i'm getting is running 38's so i'm with norm on that one
