Adios Bronco

After 235000 miles as original owner, I gave up my 86 Bronco to a good home. Went out and bought new 2003 F250SD with 6.0L PSTD 4X4 with Raven shell. Now it looks like a BIG Bronco.

Thanks for all the technical info and ideas when I was working on the Bronco. I hope the new F250 is as reliable.

Re: Adios Bronco

you'll have to give a review on your new toy (power, acceleration, mileage, etc). You'll also have to keep track of how many cummings and duramax's you out run

Oh, how I envy you.

Well, good luck. Keep an eye on your new diesel. I hear they are having troubles with leaking diesel into the engine oil.

Re: Adios Bronco

Heard the same stories. Checked it out. There are new injectors out on all the later builds and vehicles in inventory. So far I have 1600 miles (long way to go to beat the Bronco). That 6.0L PS just flat hauls. It is like having a hotrod. The truck weighs something like 8500# and still hauls. Miss my old Bronco, but it's nice having the new one. I'll still lurk around the forum.

Hmm I keep hearing about how fast the new 6.0psd is... guess it's time to go up to the dealership and find the lightest config with a 6.0 and go have some fun on a test drive

Re: Adios Bronco

Don't, it will ruin you. That is what I did. I had no intention of buying one. I was going to continue fixing the Bronco and see what happened.
