Tow hooks anyone?

The 44,600 lb drop forged next to the wimpy 10,000 lb cast hooks! Weighting in at 8-lbs each and she takes 5/8 and 3/4 bolts to hold her down!

Re: Tow hooks anyone?

Hijacking! (well, not quite)
Since we're on the subject of tow hooks....
I now have a wasted tow strap with holes in the center of both loops.
How do you keep the strap from slipping down (when it's slack) to the end of the hooks?
Once I started pulling, the end of the hook poked right through the strap.
I see those new hooks are angled on the end, and may prevent the same fate. Hmmmm.

Isn't the "keeper clip" suppose to prevent that mishap?
