Is my fuel pump on it\'s way out???

Hey guys.
The past couple of weeks I've noticed that when I switch to my rear tank I don't have the power that I do with my front tank. It runs fine with the rear tank selected. But it doesn't seem to rev as high when I really get on it.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Or is it just me imagining things ?????
Could the rear fuel pump be on it's way out?
Also, both in-tank fuel pumps are original from 1991.
Any input is appreciated.

That sounds reasonable to me! Are there separate filters for each tank, or just one on the main line? Grab a fuel press gauge and find out!
