Has anyone swapped 351C heads onto a 351-400M motor. I have the heads (1970 351C-4V, closed chamber), but I heard there was a spacer kit or something you had to use to adapt to the new cleveland style manifold. Thanks for your help!
I had them on my 70 Torino & 71 Mach I many years ago but with 11.4-1 compression ratio and the fact the ports and intake valves are larger than that of a 454 GM, they dont kick in till over 4K RPMs and require real high octane gas to overcome their inherent detonation problem due to C.R. and combustion chamber shape.
