Help - Pinging and TPS issue

'88 302 EFI AOD

Recently started expeiencing a pining and lack of performance around 1800-2200 RPM range.

Changed or did the following
TPS
EGR
EVP
O2
PCV
Cleaned Throttle Body
Fuel Filter
Cap/Rotors/Wires (Accel)
AC Delco Rapid Fire Plugs
Premium Gas

When I checked the TPS (old one), voltage was reading 4.8 all of the time, So I changed it. Well I replaced it and checked the voltage again and it still reads 4.8 . Pulled the codes yesterday and with the new TPS I had a 63 code.

If I wanted to check the vacuum what is the best way to do so?

Any ideas on what else I can do concerning the pinging/lack of performance and what I might be doing wrong with the TPS would be appreciated.

Scott

Re: Help - Pinging and TPS issue

The TPS has 3 wires, and you have to test the voltage across the correct 2 wires. The Haynes manual shows where to put the meter probes. What manual are you using?
