Stalling Between drive and reverse...?

This is for my buddy also...1991 Ford F-150 302 Auto tranny...he just got his Tranny rebuilt...his truck keeps stalling when he shifts from drive to reverse or sometimes just sitting at stop lights...he said it did it before the tranny rebuild also...Any ideas?? Thanks

Since it's a '91 and auto, it probably has the E4OD. Can you double check? If so, test the MLPS sensor on the side of the tranny(time to break out da bible..er I mean the Haynes manual)

How recently was the tranny rebuilt? I'd take it up there and have them fix it [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
