Lift question.....looking for about 2\" more

Ok, so I was thinkin about saving up for a skyjacker 2.5" lift for my 93 F150 but then I read about some guys just getting the following items:

2 inch skyjacker leveling kit
2 degree correction bushings

and a couple of add-a-leafs for the rear. I trust the people on this board more than where I got this info from...if you could give me some insight on the do's and dont's off this setup...or if I want to even do it at all. I'm just looking to fit 32's or 33's on my truck and have it look nice as well as be functional offroad. Thanks in advance guys

well then go spend 75 cents on some washers to space out your bumper and go have the tires mounted

Yep what he said. 33's will fit stock but will rub some when wheelin'. 32's wheel awsome stock.

Ya they said it. I believe it's a waste of money for anything less than 4"s of lift. Add a leafs stiffen the ride. Look here: http://www.broncodata.com/reference/tirelift.htm web page

Re: Lift question.....looking for about 2\" more

The 2.5" lift is good in the front, but like Blown said, probably not worth the trouble. I did it on mine, and like it, but to do it over I'd leave it stock with 33's or just go with the 1.5" coils in front and stock in the rear. I'm running the 2.5" kit front and stock rear now with 33's and it's perfect for me.

Get the 1.5" coils for the front and the tires, then you're done.

Re: Lift question.....looking for about 2\" more

so I can get just longer coils for the front?? won't it look like my rear is sagging...it sets level now. Also, is doing this any better than getting the Skyjacker leveling kit for the coils?? That's supposed to give me a 2" lift in the front....I don't care much about having a little stiffer ride, I'm used to jeeps, they are much stiffer than my F150

Re: Lift question.....looking for about 2\" more

It's odd that your truck is level now, they're usually about 2" nose-down.

If Skyjacker has 2" lift coils, go for it. Then get 1.5" full-length add-a-leafs for the rear.

Too bad you're not closer to CA, I have the add-a-leafs and front and rear RS9000 shocks for you

Re: Lift question.....looking for about 2\" more

whoa that would be cool...........too bad I'm like 3000 miles away. I think I'll go ahead and get the Skyjacker coil kit. Maybe my truck sets level because the rear springs are sagging?? the truck has like 175K on it. Anyway if anyone has any experience with these let me know...otherwise I think I'm gonna do it and see hwo it goes......Thanks for you help!
