TPS + OE Part Number

'88 302 EFI engine. I want to replace the TPS but the replacement parts are base on an OE part number. ANy way of determining the OE part number without taking sensor off. Only have one car and would like to get the part before removing sensor.

Catch 22 - I can no pick up a replacment unless I have the OE number and can not get the number off the sensor without removing the sensor.

Re: TPS + OE Part Number

the ford OE # is written in white ink on the female harness connector, not on the sensor side, i see no reason why you wouldn`t be able to read the part# without removing it first unless its already been replaced with an aftermarket unmarked piece.
