Very nice....OK, rub it in, what did you pay for the 60? I suppose you had been looking for it for awhile?

Re: am i an axle collector?

So, how'd that happen? You just found someone who had no idea of it's worth? Nothing seriously wrong with it, is there?

Yea, was going to ask you if you'd had a chance to think/look for that compressor. What is "special" about his AC compressor? I was talking with Tim about this. Aren't they all the same for the serpentine belt trucks? Everytime we get on that subject, it makes me want to dump my AC and convert it just to on-board air.

Oh, if you find any more of those deals, pick me up SEVERAL. Shipping would be no problem. At that price, I would attach my trailer, and come pick up as many as I could fit in the trailer and the back of the Bronco.

Man, Zach, I know that was probably just a lucky one-off find, can you imagine though? At that price, you could make a living finding/cleaning/reselling these.

Re: am i an axle collector?

axles all good, just needs U joints.
there are like 4 kinds of compressers, but for what he is usingit for i guess anyone will work. he is winding up with one slightly different than what he had, as i didnt have enough to buy any after i bought my axle.

if i find anymore they will be sold for $1000 each, i will make money and not cut any deals on those babys. i need $$ to help fund the projects!
broncos gonna go under the knife here pretty soon. i need to buy U joints, C tabs, A detroit, and gears for it.

Re: am i an axle collector?

Zach, if you do find any more kingpin 60's, strip off the grease and crap, paint them all pretty with gloss black, and put them on eBay. this has proven to drive the jeepers nuts and they will drop $1500 in a bidding war frenzy
