Axle not centered???

I just got the D60 under my F250 and the drives side tire sticks out 1 inch further than the passengers. I measured from the kingpin cap to the spring and the drivers side is 1 inch more. I didn't mix up anything during the rebuild. Is this normal? I got the axle code to confirm the year of the axle being an 87. I don't have a spare F350 to check against. Does anybody elses do this?

Good, I thought I was the only one. Yeah mine is the same about one inch. My D60 is from 1990 F-350 with king-pins. It doesnt seem to affect drivability at all though. Also, my front wheels are about 3 inches wider than the rear. I thought this had something to do with the previous dually set up but Im told all Ford F series with monos had this.

Congradulations on the swap. How about some pics.

Re: Axle not centered???

Odd, never noticed this on my 60 front, but that doesn't mean it's not there. I'm 99% certain my 10.25 does this, tho.

Re: Axle not centered???

Is the truck lifted? and did you use a track bar drop bracket? My F350 has a stainless steel plate with holes driled 6 inches apart from each other to drop the stock track bar 6 inches with the lift and keep the axle centered.
