1990 Bronco rear diff. HELP
 
I have a 1990 Ford Bronco with a 6 in. lift 35 in tires, 8.8 rearend with 456 gears. The differental is kicked up causeing the stable bar bracket to break and the axle housing to come loose from the center, the housing are want ing to walk out>. What could cause that? you broke the welds and started to twist the tubes. you might be able to recenter it down and reweld the tubes with plug welds, and weld the whole tube to the center section.
this one split the plug welds out, then cracked the housing.

the best thing would search for a new axle, and then weld the tubes to the housing to prevent this from happening again.
