After a new set of heads(i only had half an exhaust valve in the stock heads) and the 600 cfm holley msd ignition it finally runs. but now when i get into it it has a very promanant pop out the carb i have re timed it several times tried numerus carb adjustments even did a compersion check and i have 158-162 psi in each cylinder. i know you guys can help also anbody know where i can get an affordable fuel injection swap. Check distributor, coil, wires and so on before getting carried away. It's probably somethign very simple. Give it a day or two to rest and go back, recheck everythign. You may have simply crossed some wires.
I can't tell you how many times that turns out to be the case, even with people that are WAY BEYOND EXPERIENCED.
I went out and looked at and came to the conclusion thta i must have some thing in lines of a vacumm problem. does anybody know where i can get a better diagram(easyier to understand than the chilton's)that would show the routes of the lines on the manifold [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img]
