Anybody make a partial soft top, just for shade?

I see a lot of jeeps that are open except for a canvas top that only blocks the sun from above.

Anybody know of a place that makes those for our Broncos?

check the search, I listed a basic bikini top that I put together with the help of some parts from kayline/specilatytopco. I found no manufacturer, custome cost me about $150.

Got pics?

The pics don't show up anymore in that old post. Got any recent ones?

Thanks again.

Re: Anybody make a partial soft top, just for shade?

I used a bikini top from a 55-75 cj5 and mounted the bracket just in front of the removable hard top, I added a home made 'role bar' (3 pieces of metal tubing connected by 2 45' angles) the bikini top covers the backseat (just over the role bar) and ataches at the back of the bed. let me know if you all need pics of role bar etc. these tops run just under $40 and come in about a dozen colors (i think i paid an estra $15 for the bracket).

Pics are always good! If you could, that would be great!

You can also email them to me if you like.

Pic of my bronc with soft top on. I made mine so that folks could sit in the back seat. That is why I needed the support bow. You might want to angle right down to the tailgate. I know you can find some inexpensive upolstery shop in Nogales.
I lived in Sonoita for 3 years finishing-up High school at Patagonia. How do you handle the heat down there with top off? I've put mine back on for camping and summer heat.
