Sorry, had to vent. Fox's coverage is really souring our interest in NASCAR.
Lose all the graphics and the mindless commentary, and,
SHOW US THE RACE!

Hey, no offense to ole DW.
Had a 1/32 scale slot car of his ~'78 Monte Carlo.
He does need to "put a cork in it" at times however.

Re: OT: The \"Name\" Story

It's amazing how things revolve through life, initials getting twisted into a nickname that will last forever. Interesting story.

So Doug if you're a big NASCAR fan who's your man???
I have beeen to Talledega and Texas.Working on some tickets for Bristol.

First big hero was Cale Yarborough.
Then came the die-hard independents. Alan Kulwiki (May he rest with God in Peace), and Bill Elliott.
Currently Im really pulling for Mark Martin (still liked Valvoline better than Viagra as a sponsor. )
Someone needs put a fire under his behind though, if hes going to get a Championship.

Best wishes on Bristol. I hear those are about the toughest tickets to get.
Sure would be worth it though!
Weve been to Phoenix twice for Winston Cup.
Also, we attended several Craftsman Truck Series races,
when they used to run at Evergreen Speedway in WA and Portland International Speedway.
