MR. Gasket DESKTOP DYNO 2000 Engine Analyzing soft

Has anyone used this MR. Gasket DESKTOP DYNO 2000 Engine Analyzing software?
Is it worth the $40-$50 that it sells for?
Or is it just a waste of money?

Thanks,
JD

It's tiny, like 3megs, so just do what lal says. If you really like it, you could buy it just to support the author... nothing like try before you buy

I got it and I'm am sure it saved me hundreds of dollars. I like to tweak on my bronco and the program allows you to see what works. I got several opinions on different mods, the dyno gives you facts. I am looking to stroke my motor down the road. I plugged in the extra stroke for the block and whew! 100 more ponies and ft.lbs. of torque! I also looked at different cam profiles to get the one I have. Very useful.

Re: MR. Gasket DESKTOP DYNO 2000 Engine Analyzing soft

Anyone willing to run some dyno numbers for me? I've got about 2k on the engine, I'm waiting 'till around 6k and a few more mods to dyno it. I have a different dyno program (older) and am curious to compare them against the Desktop Dyno numbers. Specs are as follows:
1988 351W .040 over
9.2c/r
Ported E7 heads w/ 1.94in - 1.6ex valves
flow specs: 219in/151ex @.500 lift and 28" H2O
Comp Cam - 35-255-5
specs: 114 LSA
210 dur intake @ .050
214 dur exhaust @ .050
.478 intake w/1.6rr
.485 exhaust w/1.6rr
shorty headers with a 2.25" dual exhuast into a Flowmaster Bigblock series with two - 2.25" inlets and one 3" exhaust with a flowmaster 3" tail pipe. No Cats, just straight 2.25" pipe coming off the headers running into the Flowmaster.
3.55 gears w/31" tires
MSD TFI coil
Ford MotorSports 9mm wires
K/N filter
C6 auto w/B&M "hack" kit

I would also be curious to see the dyno numbers from the same combo with the addition of 1.7 roller rockers.

anyone?

Thanks,
Greg
