ORU shackles for $29?

Thought you might like to see what I found. I got these heavy duty shackles from this guy on ebay. He made them 1" longer that the ORU version and with a 2" rectangle center support for added strength. The best part is they were only $29! Im mounting them on the rear of my D60 leaf springs to try and eliminate the track bar (like ORU). Check out my superford site to see the rebuilt D60 ready for install and details on how to get these shackles. Project X

Re: ORU shackles for $29?

Southwest 4x4 offers custom shackles as part of its product line.

Hi-Steer was bought from: Echobit

It was expensive but since I only paid $300 for my D60 I decided to go ahead with the set up. I saved some money going with Avalanche Engineerings tubing $5/ft. Its dom tubing has a 11/16 hole perfect for hand tapping the 3/4 16 thread for their heims.
