take top off bronco

i have a 1990 xlt bronco i bought from orginal owner the tops never been off shoud i buy a new seal before taking the top off [img]images/graemlins/40BEER.gif[/img]

i was told that you dont have to just make sure that the seal is still lookin good and some one mentioned that they soaked it in armoral of something. but i asked the same question and all the more knowlegeable people said no

Nope, your seal should be fine. Be careful to store your top properly though.

Get a can of Silicone Spray Lubricant to soften & lube the foam & rubber seals.

just got back from playing (with tyhe top off) in the creek,mud ,woods (love trail riding)my son was in the back seat and he mud/water splattered but he still enjoyed it
