Re: Computer Wizes -

Not really since coolant temp is the only one of those that the ECM ever sees.

Re: Computer Wizes -

You don't need a computer to do that, anyway. $30 in cheap gauges will do it.

Re: Computer Wizes -

There are some aftermarket chips or modules that have a PC interface for setting parameters - that's what they were showing in that movie. I don't know that they're made for EEC-IV computers, but they're out there.

Re: Computer Wizes -

Look up "EEC Tuning" or something like that on a search engine, I know there are diehard Mustang guys that program the crap out of the computers

Re: Computer Wizes -

If you wanna have more fun, go get the GPS software for your laptop and run that while out "exploring".

If you run around with your top off, what do you plan to do with the laptop?

Re: Computer Wizes -

im welding together a new consel like the ones Tuffy sells, and its going to have a nice sized padlock on it hehe... i can put all my junk in there, strap, cd player face, cb radio, fog light covers ect.
i dont plan on driving around with it in there, only when ill be in the truck most of the time and it wont be left out of my site long enough.
i like the GPS idea alot, whats it take to do? do i have to pay a monthly fee?
~wispering~ "can i avoid this fee somehow?"

There's no fee for GPS - just the purchase price & batteries.
