Last Steering Question :)

Hi guys. I recently thought my steering has been getting weak and has alot of play in it. I replaced both of the Tie rod ends and lots of the play is gone now. I also changed the Belt. I just a have a dumb question. Well i used to be able to turn my wheels hard over, not moving, on cement. Now when I try to do that It starts to go but then the pump starts stressing now. I was just wondering if that is normal or if my pump might be getting old. I am going to get it realigned at a shop and then I will see how it is after that I guess. Thanks guys

yes and yes, the FORD pump design is not good and that is why you see people swapping to the Saginaw style pumps. EFI vans had them so we can just bolt them onto our Broncos
