Been experiencing a recurring "problem" with my '88 Bronco (Stock). Noticed a clicking noise on the drivers side front wheel as I accelerate (normal acceleration, making a turn does not make a difference) from 15mph on up. It does not happen once the vehicle has been run for a little bit (5-10 minutes). The sound increases with speed.
I replaced the rotors and wheel bearing 6-8 months ago, had the inner and outer rod ends replaced by dealer 2 years ago. Checked to make sure the bearings were OK by doing the 12/6 o'clock check. All seemed tight. When I did the 3/9 o'clock check I noticed movement. Is this normal?
Tire wear is normal.
Just wondering if I should take a part the automatic hubs?
The only other thing I notice is a vibration between 60-70mph. (Tires balanced and rotated religiously, new rear u-joint 6 months ago) Thought I would throw that one in to see if anyone has cured this problem.
