opinion poll...best lift for 38\" & gearing

i have a 90 xlt fullsize bronco with 5.8 auto tranny, axle codes say; 19 the rig seems to be in excellent shape/condition except paint. (paint can wait) my question is; i want to have 38" tires & a suspension lift done! what would be a ballpark figure for me to install everything$$$ what would be the best reccomended lift kit? gearing if needed? rear end in my old 79 chevy 1/2ton would flex too much & spit out spiders wondering if this is a issue here too? maybe a rear axle brace? thanks for all answers...they will help grately. this ones a keeper...i like it! Before considering lift/gearing, you need to decide on axles.

sorry, but '38's won't fly with the stock axles, unless you just want to run around on the street with it. The axles just aren't up to that size tire. I suppose you can do it anyway, but be prepared with lots of spare axles/axle parts for the impending breakage.

I have seen 36's survive awhile on stock axles. I run 35's on 15 x 8's and feel fairly comfortable, but certainly not confident about the axles managing them.
