Moving to North Carolina!

Well it is official, I'm leaving the great state of Texas and heading east to Burlington, North Carolina. Any of you guys out there from this part of the country and if so where are some good wheeling sites. I will not know a soul when we get there. The worse part about the move will be starting over with all the parts houses. I'm on a first name basis with a couple of the Ford dealerships in town, Advanced Auto Parts stores and several Zones. So much so they usually give me 20% off on my purchases. Oh well, back to paying full price.

Welcome to the ewast coast. As far as wheeling tellico is about 5.5 hrs from you and paragon is about 8 hrs from you along with rauch creek racing jsut opened. I have never been to tellico or rauch creek but paragon is awesome.

Cool! Thanks for the heads up. We are really excited about the move and seeing a new part of the country. We also ride motorcycles and I hear there is some beautiful riding in that area.

Re: Moving to North Carolina!

Welcome to NC. I'm a transplant, too, from Binghamton, NY. I'm in Charlotte now and wouldn't leave it for anything. A lot to be said for waking up to sunny days 90% of the time. I know some descent trails on the outskirts of town. But the best wheeling nearby is in the Uwharrie State Forest about 2 hours away. Nice graded trails for differing levels of drivers and rigs, and sweet campgrounds.
