NP435/351C combo question

I am trying to figure out how hard it would be to mate a 351C to the NP435 that I have. I was trying to get a 5.0, but they are a little spendy, and there area couple of cheap Clevelands around here.

I am looking to put a Ford drivetrain into my Jeep. Anyway what years and what models had this combo? Any sites you could point me to that would have info on this?

Mostly trying to figure out the bellhousing /clutch setup.

Re: NP435/351C combo question

The 351C is a big block in which you will have to go back aways in year to get one. It's younger cousin though the 351M/400M can be found in found in Ford Trucks from 78-83 I believe. In you aplication I'd wait and get a small block combination but that's just my opinion. The intake ports on the Cleveland and M motors double that of a windsor port and gas mileage will double as a result. Also I don't think you can find the big block with fuel injection. I hope some of this helps. NORM
