O/T 1978 f100 2wd 351w flexplate questions

I am swapping in a 1986 351w HO from a Bronco into my 1978f100 with a c4 auto tranny. I think the 351 was in front of a c6 tranny. what flex plate should I use? one for the Bronco with the c6, or get a different one that was made for a 351w/c4 combo, like from an 80's car? I hope i made my question clear. thanks, Ben

I think the one you have will work because that even though the C6 is bigger the bellhousing on the C4 is the same size as the larger tranny. So I think either will work in this case. I could be wrong though
