ENG BLOCK CASTING NUMBERS ?
 
Ok tell me if this is right

72??-351w-??-??
If any one can fill in the question marks that would be great but I mainly need to know if it is the right year. also I just found out I have a spare n208 and the motor has a performer intake [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/givemebeer.gif[/img]. I think I fiund a real good find on this parts truck

if "d2" is a year code, then that is 1972 by FORD naming convention, yes.

In general , the D2AE casting was used 72-74, 75s started seeing D4AEs, but according to my AERA book, both of these castings may be used in some applications up to 78. But not much had been changed between those years.
