[/ QUOTE ] Yeah. I bought some studs and nuts to go through the holes you see. I'm going to bolt up the pan using the 6 studs and stock bolts and then I'll slide the cover on there. I'm doing all this at the community college. So far I've taken their welding 1 and 2 classes plus one projects class in which I made my stylish bumpers and tire carrier. Once you prove to the instructor here you can enroll in the projects class for $180 and all the scrap you can find is free. I used the 2x2 you see there because it was avalable and free. Plus untill I saw it laying there I was wondering how I could build a base that wouldn't fold over if I ever smacked the pan hard. Hopefully I'll have some more pix for you real soon. I'm going up to the college soon after I type this post. See ya'all soon. NORM

Re: Tranny skid plate part 1

I don't have one big enough to drill a hole so that the 7/16 socket could fit in there. What's done is done and I needed the torch practice anyway. (I need a hell of alot more by the looks of it! ) LOL NORM
