Re: Making a hydraulic Winch?

Great info! I have been looking for a winch, and im shure i will find one soon. The alternator can stay on the motor as this thing wont see much mud duty as it will be setup for rockcrawling with 120 to 1 ratio by the time im finished with it. The levers will work best for me since i will need 3 to do all the things i want to, and i can steal them off a tow truck or get them from a combine/tractor junkyard.

i dont know how this works, but if you could rig this up to run all 3 things, you could pretend you're in a space shuttle or something:

that would be a fun piece to show off when people ride with you

Can you say front end loader? Thats a hightech version of the old case front end loader controls, that one has got some electronics in it vs a uv joint.

that still has uv joints the electronics is for magnet or rotating grappler(claw) on scrap handling cranes.
