This is nothin big just kinda annoying. My washer fluid isn't working anymore, im guessing it must be the washer fluid motor but Im not sure. Does anyone know where the washer motor is located on a 92 f-150 with a 302. And how hard and exspensive is it to replace. Could it be something other than the washer motor?. The hose to the resivore is still connected and not leaking, and its full of fluid.
sounds kinda like my prob. i can hear my washer motor working, just nothing comes out. the hose int the reservoir is connected and the reservoir has fluid in it. it just wont squirt. what gives? plugged hose? or just old(1981) ?
Like RustyOl was mentioning, do you hear your motor working? Again, if you are in cold weather, I have experienced this before. I have good, -20 fluid in there, but still somewhere along the line it will freeze up on me. As soon as the weather warms some I will try it for a minute and no problem.
i had same problem in the beginning of this winter.pump and window wash were frozen i knew the pump was good so i added some rainx wash and by the next day it was working
well I took a look at the motor and the connections. They connections looked kinda ditry so i cleaned them up. Plugged it back together and what do you know.....works like new again. Thanks for all the good advice
