np435 tranny swap?????

will an np435 out of a 81 f150 4x4 with a 300 6cyl bolt up to a 78 351 v-8 that came with a c-6 auto? [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

As long as it's a 351Windsor.
However, I'll bet it's a 351M in the '78. [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
These folks might have an adapter.

hey that is a great site I think I found out my answer to another post about if the t-18 will mount up to the 351 and it said that the 289 , 302 and 351 windsor all had the same block bolt pattern so that should mean I can directly mount it up with no adapter right
