Daylighters

Hey guys,

I got a set of the 150 Watt KC Daylighters with the sealed Beam bulbs. Im replacing both of them now because somehow i burned both of them out on my last trip. I put a 30amp relay on them this time as my last one was bad. Do you think the 30 amp instead of the 40amp relay that is came with could cause the lights to burn out?? Or maybe the lights are getting to much power from the battery on the long drive? I have no shorts, and I have all the wires for the wiring kit hooked up correctly. I have had these lights for a good 3 years though. Maybe they just got old huh?? OK well i just dont want to replace them to find out that i will burn them up again....Thanks for any help guys I appreciate it....

Re: Daylighters

Did you use the other 30 amp relay fuse with the block 30 amp fuse? If not, you would be getting to much juice from the battery to the lights. I ran into the same thing with my light bar with 5 100w lights. Just had to run some extra wires, that's all.
