HELP!!! FOR MY 1987 Bronco

I ran out of gas in my 1987 Ford Bronco[I think]So I put gas in it and still would not start. I pumped the gas peddle it smelled like gas so I left it sit for a couple hours. When I returned I called a tow truck but before he could tow it I tried to start it and it started right up,but while talking to the driver my Bronco died again I thought I ran out of gas again. So hook up to tow truck & towed to gas station put $10.00 in tank still nothing!I have fuel injectors do I need to prime them & were are they located? PLEASE HELP ME WLDROSE

hows the fuel pump? Is it leaking or see anything around the leak hole... or could be broke inside (had that on one

if you smell gas and it isnt running, it sounds more like youre not getting spark... bad coil maybe?

Re: HELP!!! FOR MY 1987 Bronco

When my fuel pump went out, of course I pulled over on the side. I tried it a few times and nothing. I called a friend and after about 15 minutes of waiting it cranked right up and I drove it about 1 mile than it died again. After that it was all over and I could no longer here the fuel pump priming when I would turn the ignition on. To me it sounds pretty much like what you experienced.

Good Luck,
Brian

Re: HELP!!! FOR MY 1987 Bronco

Gasoline injectors don't have to be bled - that's only for mechanical diesels. Always start by pulling the codes, but my prime suspects are the coil, the fuel pump, and the ignition module.
