Man, where am I?

I lost my home internet around christmas time, due to contract expiration and inflated prices, so I haven't been on here for quite awhile. I get back on and it feels so foreign. People talking spanish, all these new graemlins, people changing their pictures (like BigNorm's run-in with the tree now is what I assume to be a modified folding chair). I just don't know you people anymore....just kidding.

I would just like to say, I missed you guys! I felt so out of the loop. I'm glad to see that the forum didn't fall to pieces without me here

Re: Man, where am I?

I was in the same predicament also and I'm glad to be back. Christmas break was fun, I was constantly pulling Toyotas out of ruts I made. Wish I wouldn't have lost the pictures, they would make a great sig pic.

Re: Man, where am I?

Hey Norm take a pic of that front fender did I cut mine like yours. I went and stuffed the front left tire today (lt rear tire was off of the ground almost) and I dont have any rub.I couldnt belive it after having to take an inch of the body lift out to get the bronco inspected I thought for sure the 35s would rub but nope I went lock to lock and no rub. Here is a pic of the finished product

Re: Man, where am I?

The more and more I see those 80-86 body style the more I want one. I can feel the 90 getting jealous.

Re: Man, where am I?

hey, I did have some excitement over the break...

My first stuck!!! I was cruising around when the 6in of snow was mostly melted, looking for some good mud. My tires weren't having any problems with the mud. I then turned a corner and was on a road with snow drifts piled upto the fence line. Like a retard I took it out of 4wd in the mud (cuz it takes on mud like a beast!!), and didn't realize that I would need it for the snow drifts. I hit the first 2 big snow drifts hard and it slowed me a little, then came the last and biggest drift. I got about half way in and stopped. By the time I got it in 4wd, I wasn't going anywhere. I had sunk onto my frame. Just to let you know, I had snow up over my steps. I dug down and it was roughly 18" deep. I had to call a good friend of mine to come pull me out. His 4runner with rear locker and my heavy beast had a hard time getting me out. But that beats anyday of work!!!
