Door Jam...

I have a 93 bronco with a real problem...the wire that connects the inside handle to the opening mechanism in the door has worn out and broken (the outside handle does work). I took the door panel off and realized the problem which wasnt a big deal and i fugured i could replace it myself. I put the panel back on and when i closed the door both handles are jammed. So im stuck with a permanetly closed door and i have no idea what to do. I cant remove the inside panel any more because one of the screm that holds the door in place is covered by the dashboard. So if anyone has any suggestions please help get me out of this jam!

Re: Door Jam...

Can you figure out why the outside handle doesn't work? You say "jammed", but what do you mean? The button doesn't pop back out? Or is the door just locked? Does your door panel go all the way down, or is there some exposed sheet metal at the bottom of the door?

Ever watch NASCAR? You might have to get in and out like they do.
