vent line question


i saw a web of how to extend all the vent lines, im ok whit that, but the one i saw was of an automatic transmition, the vent line in the automatic was upside, but now i wonder, and the manual transmition? i went down on my truck (bronco v8 5.0 1995) and i didnt found something like that, or al least i didnt see it...

where is it?

Many manual trannys don't have vent lines. There is no need for them.

The manual trannys have an internal vent line. It vents through the engine crankshaft and out the crankcse vent which is in the breather box.

Thanks havak so that means all I have to worry about are the differentials since the gas tank is seal to the charcol canister [img]images/graemlins/givemebeer.gif[/img]

Ok so I guess havack is tring to tell us that manual trannies do have vent lines. So inlighten us with you vast knowledge and tell me where it is on the t-18a tranny.....no [img]images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] this time or else [img]images/graemlins/AR15firing.gif[/img]
