New Years Day mud!

found a huge new offroad area... stuck the bronco bad and filled a jeep's engine with water, otherwise it was a really fun day... working on videos, some crappy pics for now:

for reference, when i stepped out of my door in that first pic, i was balls deep in water and i got sucked in by a foot of nasty mud way under there... some nice mud under all that water! (lots of rain recently) we spent 2/3 of the day getting the bronco out and fixing the jeep, and we only got a chance to explore about half of it, so i'm going back soon! yep

oh, i forgot the funny part, apparently the pins in the fire extinguishers i just inherited are not secured with anything, so they rattled out... as soon as somebody hopped in the back seat they set one off and it filled the bronco with eye-watering white powder that sucks the air right out of you

Looks like fun, but looks like you need to be a little drunk to hit that water!

Re: New Years Day mud!

Drinking and wheeling is not encouraged here! Even Jokingly. We have a bad enough name with all the knuckleheads out there who do stupid stuff like drink and wheel and wheel off the trails in unauthorized areas.
Nice pics Muddy. You mud guys are crazy! Give me a hill of rocks to climb.

Re: New Years Day mud!

Ive got to agree I will stay with the rocks you guys can keep the mud. I hate cleaning the stuff how and working on it after words. But I guess you dont have to worry about breaking to much stuff with all the wheel spinning in loose mud and the lack of traction

Re: New Years Day mud!

that woulda helped, but a snorkel is what he really needs... we're going to build one soon, and since it's his play vehicle it wont even have to be pretty
