body lift questions??????

I recently bought a 1981 ford f-150. I also purchased a 3" performance accessories body lift. here is where the question comes in. i have a 4 spd tranny. how will the clutch linkage work with the body lift? what mods do i need to make? will the parts for the mods come in the body lift? if not who can help me with this? Re: body lift questions??????

if the lift was ordered for a truck with a manual transmission, then it should have a 3" extension that you must weld into the linkage somewhere to extend it so it will work with the body lift. Not sure where it will go, though, as ive never seen it done

Re: body lift questions??????

Actually alot of the times that linkage is extra. I know for my freinds ranger it was extra. The only thing youll get is the basic kit. The spacers , bushings and bolts and nuts.
