Winter Wheeling in Colorado

I have always wanted to do some winter wheeling but am never able to find anywhere to go or anyone to go with. Now that I live in Telluride I am surrounded by beautiful snowcapped mountains so I am getting anxious. I know there is great wheeling here in the summer but their is way too much snow right now do go anywhere. Anyone from Colorado have any suggestions of where I can go or of anywhere or anyone to talk to? Thanks guys and gals. Re: Winter Wheeling in Colorado

I've always wanted to check out the Norwood area, lots of roads around there and back in Disappointment Valley. But it'll all be easy Forest Service type roads. If you want hard core Moab is your best bet.......or Farmington.

I once sent you an email but never heard back. If you wanna go out lmk, I'm hoping for a overnight Moab trip in February. I need to get the truck up and running, I'm in the middle of a couple of projects. I usually take it down for the winter and try to keep it up spring thru fall.

If you feel like wrenching lmk LOL

Sorry about that. I must have erased it or missed it. I would love to go to Moab in Feb. My roommates and I have been talking about it. Do you live near Telluride? Let me know when you are planning on it and I'll try to get my s#%t together.
