Re: Bronco Centurion on Ebay

Something is screwy with that deal! The truck only has "58,000" miles on it, but yet the 460 has been rebuilt with less than 20,000 miles on it. More like 158,000 miles on it. Who would rebuild a motor with about 30,000 miles on it?! mine has 199,000 miles and still runs good. I think it has more wear on the interior than 58,000 miles, the door panels are really worn and the pading on the door panels has been replaced with cheesy wood. Also the truck is a "centurion" top of the line, and has manual windows?

Re: Bronco Centurion on Ebay

Think those wood inserts are installed by centurion just like the custom console, it may be faded a little , looks like the front *are* P/Ws. Its also possible that it came with a 5.8 and someone didnt like the power output, I know my boss a while back ago bought a brand new Sliverado with a 5.0 and shortly thereafter was dissapointed cuz it had no power and after only 8K miles, ripped it out and put a 350 in it. Just a possibility, otherwise it does look well maintained...

Re: Bronco Centurion on Ebay

Bronco 2 centurion??
I do not see any thing special with the 460 AKA 7.5Lv-8.
When I went to Salton Sea I saw a Huge Centurion. Specs:
6.9L Diesel(yes it was a diesel)
C6
Dana 60Front and yada yada.
The owner is retarded, who would rebuild an engine at 20000 miles??? at 100000<- maybe.......
I really think that owner is a lie!!!
another one

Re: Bronco Centurion on Ebay

why would he be retared if the motor gernaded itself at 20k? is he magically going to let it sit as it gains miles that are normal for a rebuild?
remember, motors can die with low mileage if something was wrong. he could have over heated it due to a failing cooling system and smoked the heads. friend had a never 305 that dropped a valve at 12k.

Re: Bronco Centurion on Ebay

Wish snata had brought me a digi cam! Yah ill see if i can get some pictures of whats left of it, it burnt to the ground this fall, thats how i got the two rangers for parts the guy owned for nothing. Hehehe. YOu can make out the centurion on the hood still, and on the sides, and the funny wood thats chared on the door panels.
