Weld on Shackle tangs

I had seen them advertised before but where - cant recall , anyone know who carries those triangle shackle tangs?
Almost smoked my new makita cordless drill trying to drill holes in 3/8" plate steel adapting that Ramsey to my warn bumper, im not even going to attempt to drill holes in 1/2" plate

Re: Weld on Shackle tangs

a triangle what? if you're looking for an extraction point, i found some badass weld-on 1" D-rings at Northern Tool for 10 bucks each. They are rated with a breaking strength of 47K lbs, so they should be strong enough

Re: Weld on Shackle tangs

I had seen some pre-cut shackle brackets (a triangular plate of steel with a pre-drilled hole to screw the threaded pin of a shackle into) meant to be welded to a main support - advertised somewhere (off-road supplies, harbor-freight, dunno) , but that also sounds cool, hafta look into it
