RE: Fuel Filling Problems...Revisited

Well, the original post doesn't seem to be taking well to "flat" mode any more.
You can't get past the first page.
Probably, cause it's from the year 2000!

Anyway, for those of you that don't view in "threaded" mode....like me....here's my latest information:

This is my new "work-around" for filling up the rig.
At least I can clip it on the 2nd notch now, and it'll hold till a gallon shy of full.
Much better than standing next to it and holding it in place cause it won't even fill on the 1st notch.
It does exert a bit of stress on the fuel filler cover though.
Some day.....the Rev will pull it apart and fix it the right way.

I rarely find a station anymore down here that has that little latch to hold the pump lever on, dont know if they do it for safety reasons, but 99% of the pumps have them removed

Re: RE: Fuel Filling Problems...Revisited

That's why you have a gas cap, to cram in the nozzle lever, to keep the pump going.
Like they didn't think we'd try that?

Re: RE: Fuel Filling Problems...Revisited

i just shove the gas cap in there. if i wedge it in at a slant it goes at the highest setting. 90% of the self holders are gone around here, but we still have them on our two personal 1000 gallon tanks.
