I just wanted to say hi to everyone on the board. I have been a long time bronco owner but only recently found out about this board from WD40 whom I saw on the Escape forum.

I also just signed up on the superford site and haven't uploaded a lot of pictures yet. 1991 Bronco

I think I'm pretty much done with the exterior upgrades and will be concentrating on my engine next year. I'm sure I'll be asking this board a lot of questions (after doing a search of course). Thinking of putting in a new crate motor with all the goodies...I just want more hp/torque...arr arr arr arr

Ricky

Re: New forum member

Wow!
You made it over here pretty quick.
I'll say it first, before someone else chimes in.
edit: well, 80Bronco beat me to it, by 1 minute.
Read that first post at the top.
Biggest hint: Get some info filled out in your BIO.
Really helps a lot when you're asking questions.

No folks, I'm not abandoning the Bronco.
We pick up the wife's new '03 Escape this coming Saturday!!!
Whew! I'm looking forward to getting better than 10mpg on our highway trips now.

And, (as Norm looks on) I can concentrate on really getting the Bronc' trail ready.
Need that custom front bumper/winch, and custom rear bumper.
Hmmmm, roll bar so I can race in the classes that require 6-pt cages........
Ooooops. There is a car payment to contend with now.

hey man, those are good looking tires you got there!

I was about to make a crack about why Doug was on the Escape forum, but he got a chance to explain himself first, dammit!

Re: New forum member

Hey, this is cool.
First time I've been able to introduce a new member!
So, ball-park figure, rikeegee, how much was that front bumper?
3/16", or 1/4" plate?

I knew I had better explain that one right away!

Re: New forum member

That IS a nice bumper , btw is it enamel or powdercoated?

What brand?

Im trying to figure out way to incorporate the chrome grill guard and bars off my original grillguard onto my warn chrome bumper, but i dont think its possible to weld
chromed items without destroying the finish
