bw1350 t case, need pointers

well on my bw1350 it had electric shifting, then it died, and too cheap to replace it, but not to cheap to not wonder if i can make it a stick shift at all? If anyone has done this before, I would appreciate any tips. Plus electric shift tends to fail when yah need it most. It doesnt have to be legal as it is a farm vehicle as of march.

Re: bw1350 t case, need pointers

Im thinking of making a like L shaped handle with a pivot at the 90 in the L. have one arm about 4 inches long and other arm about 12 inches long and run it up through a 1 inch by 6 inch hole in floor of bronc. Then id cut a hole in the shape of a kite on end of the short arm. With the proper clearance this should be able to rotate the arm all the way around. Anyone care to comment on this idea.

though you cant really make it a true lever shift tcase (case is different), you can pull the motor off and turn the dial to put it in 4lo and 4x4 manually. have you tried to clean the contacts inside the motor? that's how i fixed mine and it's been working flawlessly for a couple years now.

yah i tried taht the damn motor is shot and its not worth putting a motor back onto it, although it can be set up so i basicly pill up on a lever to rotate it and shift it, im doing the algerbra now. I believe i can even use the gear in the motor to mount it with.
