snorkel?

I searched for snorkels for an 89 EB and can not find anything related to what I'm looking for? I want the snorkel to come out of side driver side and come up to the top of the windsheild. Any ideas of where else to look? I've searched about everywhere I know of. Thanks.

Re: snorkel?

Make one. Simple as that, then you get what you want.

Re: snorkel?

Do a search, someone has already made a snorkel on here. If I remember correctly, there were quite a few pictures of the project.

Re: snorkel?

Good pull from the back shelves there WD. Guess our friend did notdo well on those finals.

In any case, I was reading over Steve's comments and it made me think of one other item I ran into while doing my gas tank skid plate project. At the back and top of the tank I found another stupid breather hose. this one is for my gas tank! One would wonder why the breather if this is supposed to be a sealed system, but anyway, there it was. I am pondering where to reroute it to gain a little height. Imagine sucking water down that. Anyone else found this? Thoughts on it?

Re: snorkel?

run it up the quarterpanel and into the top of the cab right where your top comes off, never gonna submerge it then.
