electric shift on \'87 Bronco

Is it possible to switch from the shift-on-the-fly electric shift to manual locking hubs?

What all would you have to change?

Re: electric shift on \'87 Bronco

Your current auto hubs are purely mechanical. There's nothing electric about them. If you want to install manual hubs you can certainly do that. The only problem I see is that your '87 may have flange style hubs, which are kinda rare and more expensive. Did they even make auto flange style hubs?? Anyone know?

It's possible I'm not understanding your question. Are you wanting to convert to manual hubs or eliminate the push button transfer case? Keep in mind they are separate systems and not tied together....

If you're talking about the t-case, ask Ratheon - I just sent him a t-case etc. and he's very happy with his swap.
