1/2-3/4 ton Dana 44

can I use everything from the ball joints out off a 3/4 ton Dana 44 on my 1/2 ton 44 I have Dana 60 rear and a dana 44 from 79/80? 3/4 ton that I want to use on my 79 Bronco

Yes you can. I did this to my truck only a few months ago. The 3/4 ton outer knuckle looks to be a little heavier duty than the 1/2 ton. You can actually leave your 1/2 ton outer knuckle on and just swap the spindle, hub, rotor, caliber mount and caliber.

Did it go together nice and easy? You did something wrong.Will have to do it again.[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img]

Yes it will. The 3/4 has a slightly bigger outer axle shaft but the inner shaft is the same as the 1/2.
