What Was The Last Year For 351W & Manual Tranny?

What was the last year a manual transmission was available with the 5.8L/351W? I know 96 was auto only with the big engine. Was there a 5-speed with granny low (4-speed with overdrive, I guess) or just straight 5-speed?

Also, is there a more active Big Bronco board around? No offense.

Re: What Was The Last Year For 351W & Manual Tranny?

Dear Bill,
My CHILTON book shows a 4 speed w/351 Windsor up to '86, but the book is for Broncos !966-86. So, it's possible the 351 manual was offered later than that. As far as your other question, a call to a Ford dealership would be in order. You're right, there's not much action as far as Broncos go. I'm still looking for a more active group, myself, on the net, but I am limited due to the fact that I am building my '78 for off-road racing and not much interested in stock parts. Good luck!

Try a '97 F250 with NV4500. I believe that combo was a possibility & should be the very end of it.
