Re: Rear Quarter`s

Nornmally the rust is 2" or more up the fender well before people think about fixing it. To cover that with flares you would need to get the cut-out flares$$$. Generally repair panels cost $20-50 depending on how musch they cover. This is cheaper and more permanent in the long run.

Did it go together nice and easy? You did something wrong. Will have to do it again.

Re: Rear Quarter`s

Depends on how much rust you have. I had a 78 before that was rusting around the rear wheelwells and I cut that out completely and put cut-out flares. With only a 4" lift I had plenty of room for 38.5 swampers. Looked good too, unlike some vehicles with cutouts. Of course they arent the cheapest but hey, it sure beat bodywork-especially since I have no clue about it, so it would have cost a whole lot more!
