ATTN: FORD EXPERTS: Test your blue oval knowledge

Did any of the 68-76 Ford F100s in 2wd or 4wd come with a Dana 44 rear axle? How about any of the 77-78 Ford F150s 4wd or 2wd? I really need your help on this one as it is rumored that some Fords came with a wide (64-65") rear Dana 44 which I am desperately searching for. Or do you know of any source that might shed some light on the subject? Any help you could give would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Take care,

Re: ATTN: FORD EXPERTS: Test your blue oval knowledge

To my knowledge, all 78-79 1/2 ton fords had Dana 44 front and, a ford 9 inch in the back. I think all the half ton fords of 79-79
came with 9" in the back, and I think the 3/4 tons came with a dana 60 in the back in both 2 and 4 wheel drive models, as for the
older fords I can't help out. Good luck in your search, hope I helped.
